(i am jumping on this only due to that taxi-driver bringing me to the hall last year, he was talking about sth alike: "where that hall resides there only live foreigners, which dont know how to behave (at that point i wanted to start laughing very hard, but i tried not to and survived in this my task!) and how the non-germans are all unsocial and how superior he would be compared to "those"! (at that point i really started having fun in my brainmovie, which could have been directed by Quentin T. himelf ;) ) ...but i just let him survive and drop me at the partyplace (i had yet to build-up with all the other organizers!).
to make that clear: there are some of these nasty individuals everywhere, but that was the only one i ever met around Saarbrücken at all! he just got lucky i let him go away like this, due to all of the organizing-stuff i was thinking of instead of really listening to his bullshit! but theres always a second meeting as the saying goes...next time i wont be too distracted by being an organizer the first time ;) )

well, Der Supermarkt appears to be a short walk away according to Google, there's a word you won't have to learn for the cab. And even those with a vocabulary limited to weaponry have got to know Das Bier und Der Kaffee. : D

Metoikos, you can get free plastic cups from any German pub by approaching the bar and saying "Hey du Kriegsverlierer, bring mich sofort ein Plastikbecher oder sonst werden meinen Landsmänner eure abgekackte Sozialutopie zuruck in die Steinzeit bombardieren"- it will work any day of the year, holidays or not! :)
