Mac.scene.org opens up the doors.

The place to be!
Yup, for some *real* trollin', that is.
Hey, nobody visits our site?
Let's pretend we just opened it and flame the hell out of all scene sites.
Yeah, that'll fool them...

it's been there ages, macboy.
I like the logos
shifter: it was just forums and news there before. the forums where non-complete aswell. everybody who has been "using" the site during this time knows it hadnt been opened yet. now it has, what is new is:
* Productionsystem
* Top 10 thingy
* All the forums features are now there and works.
There are still some new stuff to come but we thought it might be a good idea to open the site now anyways.. :)

mac are for the well-off, pc for the masses :p
additions aren't a launch. fact.
and the mac is not for the well-off. those people own *all* machines. macs are for special people.
blunt knife people.

Special people? You mean they have to wear helmets when using a computer?
Thom: Only when running OS8 :D
shifter: you mean a beta release is a final release?
shifter again: is hl2 released?

no and no. doesn't relate to mac.scene.org though.
So what you're saying is that as soon as you register a domain youre site is launched? You're funny. Stupid.. But funny!
ofcourse arneweiss, except when you put one of these cool 'under construction' signs on your site.
that last one sure looks like something else is being done, rather than construction.
posted by okkie.... what would you expect??

Call me stupid all you like, but that's pretty poor penmanship over a minor technicality. It's been around a while, active even. Maybe not "officially", but well enough within the margins that even I(*) lurked there for ages. Stop being like this, m-kay?
(*) A person who has no affinity nor love for machines encased in milky-white plastic.
shifter: Yes, that was to show that we had a betaground to work from, if you read the newsposts all the way and follow the boards you can see we also discuss when we acctually planed to open the site etc... so you can see that it was an internal board put on WAN due to my 255.255.255.0 subnet didnt reach all the way to Finland.
point is, you were there all along, you minttu-wieling swede :)
Oh, and stop kvetching and make a kickass demo that will only get released on Mac OSX. Enough with the porting of old PC releases!

> What is (in your oppinion) the biggest different between [Mac-scene] and [Amiga-scene]?
The difference is probably that the sceners on the Macintosh doesn't give a fuck about what platform they use
Wait, Mac punks don't need their macs all of a sudden?
This is so baffling I need to fucking hug my Xbox now.
Also, most former-eastern-bloc amiga sceners seem to have taken up the ideology of pretending some PPC setups are Amiga too -and no doubt about it, etc... on the pretense that they somehow emulate aspects of their youth. I trust a certain Sp*ceballs coder can vouch for their inane amount of hotness.
Despite logic prevailiing, I ought to stress the parallel between that pathetic progression into denial and mac users insisting that their recent company-sponsored ibooks are indeed scene-savvy.
Prove it. Then come back. Ask Okkie to let you back in.
