I prefer DJ Melo-D from Beat Junkies. YEEEH

oh and pete sucks. yes.
lackluster read pouet :P and sometimes put some post :P
not lately..
not that i care..
not that i care..
yeah i would've
Erm, do they *live* in London, or *performed* live?
performed live, though kschzt also lives there
i didnt realize this is a place to spam about gigs. its like, im already posting about them on the monotonik messageboard and on my own site.. what more needs to be done? are sceners really that interested in what people who have fallen away are doing?
except to get the flamethrowers on and diss whatever is played or performed

Ehh, we all know you suck, no need to flame about it.. We just laugh about it in the background :-)
personally i don't see any problem with putting such info on here. And it would be nice to know when people are performing near me too. I would have seen that one in birmingham, but found out too late (no i can't be arsed to check all the many sites + forums :)
i think what distance was trying to say was that this site isn't cool enough to be talking about md and him. :)
certainly
i like both parties' music so i don't mind (though i wouldn't travel to uk for it :-)
arneweisse: exactly like this. how it always is.
phoenix: i think you're just fucking around on purpose. great. enjoy
psonice: it takes a lot to post even on the forums i normally post to about gigs. its not much fun. the prospect of dragging the demoscene into self-promotion via ojuice or pouet is daunting. i trust that the people who actually care about the music (and dont just insist on wanting to walk to a set to go 'fuck you scener' at whoever is playing) will find out, because they're more likely to find out.
rasmus: MD used to live in denmark and played a mean set or two there. but not anymore.
and besides, neither the birmingham or the london ones were very high profile. attendance perhaps 20

Bah, you're just Blasé
distance. had some bad experiences with sceners lately ? You sound so fcuking negative about it.
No, if i knew sceners were playing live, id be likely to show up and show support to fellow computer enthusiasts rather than giving them flak for being sceners. That is how adult people work.
And were quite a few "adult" sceners who have returned in one way or another, after venturing out, like you have done, to try new fields on our own.
Yes some sceners ARE actually interrested in what happened to other sceners whoms work they used to like, or even still do. Nuke/spaceman etc. as a good example. His dubby house stuff are wikkid. But if i didnt know him from the scene, i would never have even heard about it.
What youre doing is either.
1.being an arrogant bastard who suddenly feel ashamed of having a scene history (a mistake many of us have made, admittedly)
2.Being an outright asshole, about other people who obviously give you flak for NOT telling, so those who had the opportinuty could come and see the giraffe.
nevermind my language. But why is it that the best you seem to expect from sceners attending, is flames and badmouthing?
Not all sceners are Arneweisse and/or 13 y.o kids.
So thank you for the fuck you.

eebliss cool, sounds positive.
yes i have some unexpressed/semi-expressed hostility and frustration towards the demoscene, and i perceive it to be answered in a similar fashion.
If I knew a way to just notify places straight up, i think i would. either way, i did once do a quick Renoise workshop at Augsburg Germany this year with a Renoise-user/demoscener-related dude and it was very beneficial for the both of us.
So I guess things can change.
I am not ashamed of my demoscene roots, I'll state that for the record. I would've liked to be more active and contribute more music + sounds for demos/intros, but I'm fairly sure that that train has left the station a while ago already.
I just feel queasy about promoting gigs in multiple places with the purpose of "come to my gig" which leads one to believe that there's something worth seeing during the gig.
