yeah, point. Finland and Germany are quite far apart, the only tie was that I've been in both of them and been impressed.

Then again, I have more experience of metros than trains as well,
because I live on a continent where train service is expensive, slow,
dirty, poorly managed, and on dumb schedules.

I guess I'll have to come try Dutch railways sometime. : D

I liked what little I saw of Zürich's,
and Boston is a little less scary than it used to be
but Montréal wins for awesomeness of both service and routing.
Budapest's transit is about even with Boston, in my mind,
gaining points for kickass-looking train cars and more nighttime service,
iirc. I will say if we go toward busses, Helsinki has the worst bus map
ever invented.


Anyway, as much as I'd like to take the train to Saarbrücken (and had planned to)
the prospect of taking a shuttle with a bunch of sceners is awesome.

ok, and if we're talking about stuff we want to see at Revision, I'd love to see Vakondok in the seminar room, a talk about producing stereo tracks whose production quality doesn't suck like a vacuum (or other audio topics), and maybe some good 64Ks.
