Wow, the trailer Maali linked almost made me fall asleep.

Does anyone else think that listening to people we know, but with dubbed voices, could be slightly amusing?

There are now at least 2 confirmed US screenings, with a third likely later next year (details to follow when finalized). This trailer has really helped the film out!

thanks to garg for connecting me and t0, it's good to find new NA sceners.
and by new I mean new to me in this case. tired mkos is tired.
Well it's my own fault: if I never release any of your music and lurk forever, I have to expect people will assume I'm new to the scene... :)

keito or other uk sceners - reckon you could sort out a UK screening or two as well?

btw someone is saying something wrong in the video:
Quote:
The phrase "the scene is dead" has been around for the last 30 years

IMHO that phrase comes from 1994 and the death of Commodore and the rise of PC demoscene. All old Amiga sceners were a bit pissed of the overall very poor design in PC demos and think that nothing can be better than the 1993 era of Amiga demos :)

Or perhaps the guy wasn't specifically speaking about the demoscene for the use of this sentence.

rez: It was also said by C64-sceners when Amiga-people became focused on 3D, so it's a recurring theme :)

Watched the trailer now, and really hopes for a Swedish screening or an .avi or summat later for the whole thing =)
Just watched the trailer.... realised it's due to air today...

Is this going ahead?

The premiere (or well, "preview", I still insist they should write "party version" on it) will be today, really excited to see it :) Murphy saw a version of it on Monday, was really hyped afterwards, he says it's excellent :)

Can't wait to see it, I hope the party-version is a big hit!

I plan to bootleg at least some of it and get it on YouTube tonight :)

excited to see!
Back from the premiere, and blown away completely.

Here's the opening 3 minutes (0day camz0rz), in case you're in doubt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6gd_sKLA7g&hd=1

The rest of the movie is just spellbinding; great flow, easy to understand, covers all topics from 8bit swapping to modern demotools, parties, attitude, everything. Can't wait to share the English version.

I'm a bit tired / mesmerized to say more but I'll do say this: If you want to organize a screening, contact me.

Yes! This is going to be such a hit with the remote screening audiences. (It'd be awesome if some variant of the very first bit could be kept, too ;) )
