if you click on a user, you get a list of comments that the user added. is it possible to display the thumbs in this list? would be cool to judge the taste and style of a perseon at a glance.

I'd like to see two new features. The first is a very short (maybe 100-200 characters) space for "self description" in the user profile. Also, if you click on the "more" link on the top 10 glöppers, you don't get the list of next 10 or 100 best glöppers, but instead the normal userlist page. I think it isn't logical.

Yes, a top-100 list would be nice, instead of the usual user-list.

Features/bugfixes we really need:
- users shouldn't be allowed to add a prod with a future date to stay anoyingly long in the latest release box
- users shouldn't be allowed to add webpages (*.html/*.php ...). Only links to the real prod (*.zip/*.rar...) please.

This could be done in a few lines of code in the submit sys.

beeing able to add a prods party ranking / date and groups webpage url would be nice too.

and beeing able to fix download urls or simply add additional links (win32 and .avi versions) to same prod..
would be usefull..

Another thing that might be given some thought, is the top10 page...
The database is now so large, that generating it on the fly can take a LONG time...
Sometimes my browser times out before the page is generated...
How about generating that page once every few hours or so, and caching it, rather then generating it on the fly for every visit?

personally i'd settle for a chance to edit the info you've already submitted... :)

uhm, BBS menu should put the avatar of the -last- one to post a message IMO... this would at least let you know if someone replied to YOUR post, instead of having to open the thread everytime.

Maybe both avatars (opener and last poster) would be nice

i think we need a chart menu where people can vote on their best demo / intro / game / group or whatever and change it when they want to. also a feature like that: if you like this prod then u can get similar prods and styles for demos like that. ;)

That chart idea is nice, especially since not all diskmags have charts any more.

IIRC this chart thing was discussed in another thread earlier. I'm still for it anyway. A nice possibility would be to have two charts per user: 'whats hot now' and 'my alltime favourites'.

Somehow i would like to have this feutures:

* User being able to "join" a group
why?
because then each member of a group could modify the releases of their group and acctually not even allow others to upload stuff from this group, this could keep internally jokes released at partys only for visitors fun in some native language away from pouet, that only will be flamed anyways, still not a big deal, but being able to edit your own prods to working download URLs update when finals etc.. somehow that shouldve been here in the first place.

sorry but, this original skin is NICE, however, its kindof dull after a while and wrong colors (ifkgöteborg has blue and white but the good team (ÖIS) has red and blue;)

*real forums would be nice instead of this dropdowners, i mean come on, who wants to READ the posts of Fr-08? if you had a forum with a topic per post it wouldnt get so fucking messy, you could easilly pick a "bug found" thread if youre the creater of the production and skip "you suck" threads.. i dont see the problem with real forums, would be faster to, not having to download all this biiig pages all the time ;)
