I was going to mention PMP.

In fact, the new Buenzli location is next to an open air pool. And yes, certain people had thoughts about going in there, putting up a projector and to watch demos!
I know a place where this is technical absolute doable :)
But i need to see IF :
- People are ready to make a travel for such event
- How much it is to rent the private pool place
- How much such a party depend on internet

First of all: PMP was gooood <3 And outdoor, which is something you can actually pull off in Spain. I've heard that Megahawks Inc. held these parties in Rimini (Italy) in the mid and late 1980s, perhaps something the SK guys can look into ressurecting.
I'd love something like that, a party at some venue that does not involve lots of tables, cables and screens. Perhaps something at one of those holiday parks :)
