get a watch and set it to t+15. problem, time?
hmm
Don't loose your guts! They are important to your body, it can't function without them!
true :P
Could it be that you are just so used to the situation that you feel more comfortable being the guy who is late than you do being the guy on time?
In short: You're late because you want to be late.

Pulled that trick with my alarm clock because I don't get up very easily. It might work for a short while, but at some point you're going to realize that it's not showing the actual time, and you might fall back into your old behaviour :). Or well, that's how it worked out for me.
You have to put the alarm out of your range (before sleep), if the appointment is important
I used to use a self-coded wakeup program, that played some really hard music when it was really time to get up... to stop it I really had to get up, go to the PC and click on stop. Worked like a charm for three years (most used piece of software I ever coded), 'till the apple iPhone arrived.
Not procrastinating takes conscious effort, but it can be done.
And no, it's not "always manage to get late". You don't "manage to fuck stuff up", you fuck stuff up. If you want it to stop, you need to stop doing it.
I found out, that as long as you're consistent, it's really not that big a problem. If you're always late, people will take it into account eventually. If you miss an appointment every now and then because you double-book, people will get used to that as well. Speaking on personal experience on that. I'm a mess too. My wife keeps track of our appointments (even my parties)
I once tried to use a calender to register my appointments. That worked very well. I still forgot appointments because I never really learned to look in the calender every now and then :-D But it was nice to keep track of all the appointments I forgot ;)

If you can't be arsed to get to an appointment on time, you clearly don't care about the appointment. If you did, you'd make sure you'd be there on time.
Solution: Either don't make this appointment you don't care about in the first place, or start giving a fuck.

I have no sympathies for people who are consistently late. As people say: be on time or don't be there at all. Being on time is just about being self-aware.
i agree with gloom. plus, that's what having a secretary is for! ;P
I'm always on time, but ~15 Minutes late. Most of my friends have adjusted and don't mind. Makes life much easier.
If there's something important at work though I'm on time...

Also - I think you'll find that in a world with two variables: your own actions being one and time being the other, I think you'll find that one of those is indeed pretty consistent.
i was about to have a thing to do but i dident find the place and now iam 35minutes late and it rains so going home
While it's no longer relevant, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that okkie is wrong. I lose my organs all the time, and I'm sti
actions = f(t)
if time is a linear equations, then
if its true that time is a linear variable, and that actions are a function of time, then if one change ones actions time will change. but, time will increase anyway. still this is not entirely true because of the einstein equations.
because i was 5-10 minuttes late. i decided to go home, and feel sick over that. because i used half-an hour: driving for 15 minuttes, driving through the city for 10 minutes, finding a parking lot for 5 minutes, then walking and waiting for the walking sign to turn green and walk fast over the streets. still i managed to fuck up when i had half an hour to get there. when i imagined that i would get there at time. so, i fucked up and it was my own fault that i didnt get out of the door 10 minutes earlier.
i still had a feeling that i would come late, so i should have stayed home when i had that feeling. because i wasted about an hour on it, in the end.
so, what this means is that if i change my actions, i will have control of my time. hopefully... but, would i stayed home if i did what i thought earlier.

If you left 10 minutes earlier and there was a little traffic or something, you'd still be late. So even what you think you should have done isn't good enough. Plan to get there 10 minutes early instead of just on time.
As a native English speaker, I would just like to point out:
losing your guts = a very unlikely event which will baffle medical scientists forever
loosing your guts = the result of eating a dodgy kebab

Losing your guts in, say, a game of poker? Its possible, right? Right??
Sure, when playing Vic "The knife" Coltello.
