Going to Riverwash
category: parties [glöplog]
Hi there!
I plan on going to Riverwash 2011 from Denmark. It seems the best option for transportation is to fly to Warsaw and take the train from there to Łódź. In order not to miss out on any of the party, I will probably fly to Warsaw on Thursday afternoon, spend the night there, and take the train to Łódź on Friday morning. So...
- Anyone up for a beer (and/or food) in Warsaw on Thursday evening (September 1st)? Or, alternatively, in Łódź?
- The latest flight back from Warsaw (with a reasonable price) is at 17.35. In order to catch that using public transportation, it seems I will have to miss the prizegiving. So, is there someone I can hitch a ride with from the partyplace to Warsaw Airport on Sunday afternoon?
See you at Riverwash! :-D

Considering having a lift back to the capital. AfaIk there are quite a bunch of PL dudes from Warsaw so you may have an opportunity.
Another thing: there is not too many PL scenners active on Pouet, thou.
I'm planning to go to the party too, but not sure yet...

There are plenty of Poles on pouet, just making demos instead of blabbering in the threads :) It's good to know you're coming Blueberry, I'm up for a pint on a party place definitely.
Blueberry: glad to see you coming :) I can put you through to some of the Warsaw folks, perhaps you could arrange something directly. As for what I know, most of them does not regularly read pouet so it's probably going to be the best way to reach them. Just drop me a mail (you can find the e-mail address in party organizers list).
As for Lodz, we'll probably be very busy making final preparations for the party. Still, if you land up having nothing better to do, please do show up - if time lets, we could have a sip on Thursday :-)

Making demos... Not too many, but would like to see some more ;).
how many people usually attend Riverwash?
When looking at the pictures it looks like a medium sized pub with tables seated for some 40people.

tFt: last year we nearly reached 100 people. the pictures are not perfect (the interiors are larger when compared to the photos) but the pub indeed is medium-sized. That's why we are also going to provide another beamer outside the party-place.
Oh well, change of plans. I will fly to Poznań instead. Forget everything I said, except for the last sentence. ;)
I've forgotten everything you said.
I've tried forgetting, but I just can't forget that thing you said with the grapes, the pig and the cattle prod.
The part with the pig I forgot, as far as I remember.
Wait... Going to where?
Demosceners, they will help you, somehow...
