hi there.

i recently lost my backpack in a tram in bremen.
contents were (among other stuff) my netbook, my hd-cam and a german book about the demoscene.
I know its sort of a small chance but if someone takes a look into that book ("Kunst, Code und Maschine") and happens to end up surfing Pouet (i know its mentioned several times and has a lots of links to it in there) and knows about the whereabouts of my stuff please get in touch with me (either over this thread or via pouet<at>arvenius.de.

Maybe there's a better chance if you politely ask somebody to call the lost property section there and see if they have such a backpack? Or contact them yourself if you can.

I got my phone returned when I lost it a few years ago here in Budapest. (Then again it's a pretty beat-up phone.)

mind you: most probably nobody came to check on the backpack and it was found while cleaning the tram.
if somebody had taken it the chance he returns it to the police or whereever are of course drastically low.

yeah well, who would dare to approach a lone backpack nowadays? :/

I once lost my backpack in a tram in bremen, too (around 14 years ago). I was on the way to my girlfriend so... ;) I had several books in it (Amiga Intern,...) I got it back, too. Bremen ftw. \ö/ NEVER ever had any trouble in lovely HB, you can even sleep in the park. This post is like dejavu :D

December 2010 I found an Iphone 16GB in the plane (yep!). At first glance it was an Norwegian one without any PIN. I contacted the man I sent it back to him. The phone was not mine.

@Rez: perheps. Once sb send back my friend's wallet back (from France to another country). There were all the dox untouched, except the valuable things. Impossible to say who took them and who sent the 'corpus delicti' back.

got my backpack back now, everything important is still there.
fun fact: my deodorant, my toothpaste and a skin lotion is missing... makes me go kinda WTF!? but who cares :p

perhaps it went on a flight...

... or went through similar security...

... or a homeless guy found it first ...

makes me wonder what you use for deodorant, toothpaste and skin lotion if someone thinks those are better things to take than hd-cam and a netbook

I guess the "security check" option makes the most sense here.

some people who own HD cams and netbooks ought to try using deodorant and toothpaste!
