Logos that changed the scene ..
category: gfx [glöplog]
OK - I need for a personal project of mine - some help with some logos identification:
I need the name and the logo (and what demo it first was in) that changed and set a standard from the period of 89 till 95:
Like Reward's Mental Hangover Logo -(multi style) Uno's Enigma Logo (Rays and transparancy) Ra's Sanity twisted Logo (green) J.O.E - TRSI (Metal to flame) ..
and my own design the small black and white melon. logo ....
These where logos that in my opinion set a standard and was copied mutiple times - so it's this kind of logos that i am looking for - not copies of these - but "trendsetting" logos ...
seen/melon dezign

I would definitely say that this Fairlight logo is one of the most famous logos ever:
More:
Fade One's Razor logo
Cougar's Sanity logo
Peachy's credits logo from Wicked Sensation
For more logos, why not having a look at the logos section of ArtCity?

These logos by Ra were unlike anything seen before, in or outside of the scene, and started a popular movement of the twisty style logos and French style.
Nobody has ever been able to match this style since in my opinion.
Sanity is so beautiful
hitch : never seen that complex llogo before, it's awesome!
Repost, because it's THAT good.
This changed everything, AGAIN!
kusma won this thread \o/
I miss the days when logos in demos were more the rule than the exception!
@Rowley: There is no winner in ths thread. Go fuck Crosbow, I guess you might like that...
goeie grap, hoog niveau ook!
On the Atari ST there was nothing as nice as on Amiga, but the following sure are standard for early ST days (by ES/The Exceptions then Spaz/The Lost Boys):
A bit better and also well known on the ST (by Red/Omega):
Around 1992-1993 some French guys raised the level a little bit:
(Niko/MJJ Prod, MoN/Diamond Design, Mic/Dune...)

you obviously haven't seen some of the logos created by graffiti artists decades before.
