To make it easier to connect with your fellow sceners also in social media, could you please put your scene handle next to your real name? Would make adding new people easier.

I've just created an artist page. That way I can seperate Numtek from my personal page, and you get all sorts of nifty extra fb-features. If however that is too much hassle, I agree with this tip from Jenni.
It's a useful feature indeed. For some reason it refuses to accept my handle though.
Having real names on Facebook is sort of the point though.

My top tip for Facebookers would be: "Facebook is a usurper. Remember that you feed its datamining engine with everything you do or say in the Facebook miniverse."
They're not basing a corporate strategy on doing stuff "for the people", nor are they providing a service for free. The way to economic dominance of the future is controlling and owning information, controlling and owning communication channels, like Apple etc. The difference from media and phone companies is that the internet is free and open, ie. no costs for actual physical information transfer units, nor media producers, and they're using that.
It's good for finding old buddies (mainly due to people registering with the real names!) but the rest of it is like Twitter: "I just had a good shit." --> 24 thumbs up from 'friends'.
