gr: no it's unfortunately a bit broken partly thanks to yours truly adjusting the levels.. hopefully Ziphoid got a good one :)
The datashows are now up on Scenesat http://scenesat.com/playlist/179 http://scenesat.com/playlist/180 http://scenesat.com/playlist/181 http://scenesat.com/playlist/182 http://scenesat.com/playlist/183
The party was absolutely beautiful. The orgas executed it like supersonic space ninjas. I have basically nothing to complain about, but I'll try:
PA could be better, although I understand that it's quite hard to reach the level of Akun Tehdas and its acoustically tuned concert hall. Basically it sounded like there's plenty of power behind it but it wasn't tuned properly, but I don't know enough about that shizzle to be sure.
The queue at infodesk for beer & edibles got quite long at times. Although I could just leave the line and go do something else and always when I came back it was reduced to 1-2 people. So no real trouble there.
The food orders should be done through the intranet. But I heard that the oldskool paper order form system was just a panic solution and as such it worked well. I was never left hungry.
My only real complaint is directed at the attending scene. Please, more entries! I know hard it is to find time and energy to do anything else but work these days but it just needs a couple of active days to lay the groundwork for an entry for basically any competition, and after that the rest is much easier as you have gained some momentum. You know it better than I do. Hustle up! Even a compofiller is better than arriving empty handed, both for you and the audience.
As an end note: This was the first party in a long, long time, perhaps ever, that I felt ended genuinely too early. On Sunday I felt I was ready to go for a day or even two more.
Thank you organizers. Thank you visitors. Thank you demoscene. Greetz to oravacompo crew, ens kerralla uusiks.

positive:
smooth friendly organizers

negative:
only 2 toilets
slow network
# of entries to compos
was sober during karaoke
ideas how to improve:

Seconded. Especially how many people were talking about "yeah I have this and that code/engine/gfx/3D/tune/idea/leftovers... should prolly maybe yeah I think maybe ... do something with it/them.."
Yeah. You Should. Ask for contribution if you are missing something yada yada.
"it just needs a couple of active days"? what are you on? :)
well, to make a top-3 entry to video compo would've required couple of active minutes. :D
i didn't make entries since asus has been fucking me up the ass for last month and a half. shittiest customer service they have.

Reed what are YOU on? If you have engine or such, a production is made in few days. Not that it would necessary win ;)
also, i really really need back the charger for my laptop. and i don't appreciate the organizer comments like this when i'm trying to find out how i can get it back:

< Dregu> nosfe, mitä vittua älä unohda kamojas tampereelle jos tarviit niitä.
< Dregu> haista kikkeli
< Dregu> siinä oli meidän virallinen mielipide
well you were sorta the first one giving attitude and it's only been a few days.
Next year a free beer per production? ;)
Couple of active days can bring you the 1st place in low end demo compo for example ;)
Seriously though, my excuse of not having more entries was because i happened to have a trip just a week before the party which left me only a few days to work on a production, and the inspiration didn't come earlier. Next year, i'll promise to bring a killer demo. Feel free to challenge us ;)
Awesome party!

Now thats the spirit. <3
Yup, was nice to see all guys and gals again this time. Next time somewhere else then maybe? :)
Anyway, Stream has grown to such extent that more lavatories would be nice bonus... Otherwise place is nice and sofas were good. Next time however, need to take bit better earplugs with me. Trying to sleep in middle of karaoke was nearly driving me nuts ;).

still figuring out a new platform / engine to use :)

Yes the groundwork. After you got a solid beginning & concept the rest is easier. Please re-read my original rant if my claim still sounds crazy. :)
No matter, just do stuff! Allofye!
I have to agree with reed. It's hard to believe some people are actually using multiple days for their prods.
