REVISION 2011
category: parties [glöplog]
IT WILL BE INBETWEEN 10 to 20 DEGREES WITH A 90% CONFIDENCE INTERVAL!
....met 22 graden wordt het een aangename dag, met 26 graden een hete dag en met 2 graden wordt het een frisse dag.
easter is coming up...
I'm sorry styx but this heart is mine.
When it comes to Revision airport shuttle, I guess the old Breakpoint text holds at least some truth:
Frankfurt-Main (FRA): The Airport is big and confusing, signs to show your way are completely absent. Make sure to print this map or you WILL get lost! The busses will stop in Front of Terminal 1, on Level 1. This is right next to the bus stop where the shuttle bus between Terminals 1 and 2 are departing, near to the long distance rail station. If your flight is arriving at Terminal 2, keep in mind that it may take up to 20 minutes to get to Terminal 1 by shuttle bus. Make sure you arrive well ahead of the departure time so you do not miss the bus (it is not allowed to park there too long).
I though disagree with this, I think Frankfurt and Schiphol are equally easy to navigate. Then again, I've always liked labyrints :>

knl: vous n'avez pas le monopole du coeur!
Tu as un cœur comme le mien qui bat à sa cadence et qui est le tien?
good idea - where's the meeting point for revision shuttle at the airport?
You'll know it when we know it :-)
*fart*
@d-fox: drop a picture of the proper bus, if possible :)
we compiled some important information concerning the airport shuttles for you. you'll find them here:
http://revision-party.net/info/shuttles
@Azzaro and others: we can't say exactly what kind of busses will drive, but two things are sure:
1) REVISION sign in window
2) "Scherer Reisen" will be printed on it
you maybe wanna check out their busses here: http://www.scherer-reisen.de/reisen/de/fuhrpark.php

Can I buy Revision2011 T-Shirt in Revision 2011?
If so, I will buy it for some japanese demosceners.
Do you want sake from japan?
It seems many countries restrict imports of food from japan.
I think sake packed before 3/11 or made in place far from Fukushima is safe.

More seriously, you should really bring the whole tokyo with you.
About Sake, I'm not sure I'll be a fan of it but if anybody order some, he'll have to let me try it :)
knl: I'm still working on the salty liquirice-stars. It turns out, they're only sold in large quantums and only for retailers. I'm currently working out some way of placing a purchase through the company of a friend of mine. I won't give up yet!
Well - Licorice, that is ... salt-licorice-stars from Denmark. Just to clear any confusion ;)
yay, I'm pretty sure you'll find more than one scener interested in those!
Punqtured, I should be able to grab a box of those pretty easily - shall I give it a go?
Yes, definately. We're in the middle of moving and I'm having a hard time convincing my wife to do all the packing while I'm partying in germany ;) So if you could do it, I'm sure she'll appreciate it!
I'll give it at shot :)
Azzaro: don't say you're already worried that frankfurt airport might be so toxic you won't be able to reach the bus without printed pictures :D
Echtzeit, the organizers of Buenzli and other demoscene-related events, will give away a special newcomer prize at Revision. Read all about it here
tomohiro: Yes, you can buy shirts at the party. Just make sure you buy them early as they might be sold out at the end.
