Could someone capture some PSX demos to divx and upload them somewhere?
Even some psx democoder who would want to make his demo more famous???

rahhhh, yes we want it !
and other platform too, like CPC or SuperFamicom for example
Analogue : can we have 2 links for each prods, one to put the original archive (.lha of the exe for Amiga for example) and the second to put a video version / of emu version (like divx / adf for example) ? thanx !

Zone just add a comment with a link to the video ;)
Atleast haujobb's "Variance" dreamcast demo from MS01 was released as Div-X some time ago. It's 120mb and the datarate is something about 600kbytes/sec and you won't even notice that it's a video if you're not looking very closely at the screen.
For CPC and Snes there are already emulators with which you can very easily watch some demos. But new consoles like PSX, Dreamcast, e.t.c... or new Amiga demos, DivX is good idea for someone who is just wondering how these demos look like and he either hasn't the machine or there isn't a proper emulator to run them..
P.S. Like Caprice32 (ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/amstrad/emulator/cap32111.zip) or Winape (ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/amstrad/emulator/winape18.zip)

For PSX there *are* quite good emulators that can run demos, e.g. ePSXe.
I'm thinking about adding a video link.
I'm just waiting some feedback about amidemos, which will provide many...
added to the todo list =)

Ryg is right, ePSXe runs pretty well, although there are some tricks not supported on most plugins (like using a texture that's part of the display buffer...)
Let's celebrate the random thread revival day \o/
