Musical as a scene platform
category: residue [glöplog]
well? any chance that happening any time soon?
I have a concept lying around somewhere but it requires Smash to sing the Druid II tune. Naked. I've yet been too afraid to ask :(
Texas by Keyboarders has already been made into a theater play, so why not?
So smash will be showing his bits?
kb_: I saw you asking right there!
How do we explode things into particles, eh?
@trc: so you see, coders == naked.
I had a talk with someone a few years ago, and that possibility was actually taken seriously. The only problem is, of course, money for such an underground subculture's based musical. It's not economically possible to make a musical about the scene.
If anyone with lots of cash wants to fund it, contact me as I have experience in that field.

as long as ddt will sing "DONT CRY FOR ME KEBBY"
of course that making a musical about the demoscene and having people (dancers, actors and musicians) ready to perform the sceners' creations - much like a real platform - is quite different.
In order for the artists to learn the text + music + scenes they'd need some rehearsal time... as you can imagine, a long time of precalc :)
