URGENT: Plane travellers to REVISION - register!

category: parties [glöplog]

hi all plane travellers to REVISION 2011!

we are into the final phase of planning the shuttles from the airports to revision. currently it's quite difficult to get a good distribution of the people onto the busses while being flexible enough for late registrations.
apart from that the price per person would currently be still quite high (upper limit 50.-€ 2-way, no matter what airport). while this is still cheaper than going by train, we'd like to have a better price for everyone!
so, to put it short: if you're arriving by plane and haven't registered yet, do so NOW on the revision website for the following reasons:
- better planning for you
- better planning for us
- cheaper prices for everyone

Since we need to book the shuttles in march, we've now set the deadline for shuttle registrations to Sunday, March 20th 23:59.

Also: tell your friends! (yes, really)

I would like to register for airport shuttles but I have a problem.
My flight will arrive at the Frankfurt/Main in 4/21.
I will stay a hotel near the airport in 4/21 and ride the shuttle bus in 4/22.
But I can't set Arrival time as 2011-04-21.
Thank you in advance.

psycho: most likely there will be two shuttles on friday. one around 12:00 and one in the late afternoon. or one in the late afternoon.
tomohiro: just register for any flight on friday (means, choose a fake flight number) and choose any time (preferably something like 10:00, if we have two shuttles you'll become assigned to the early one)
all: after the deadline on sunday we'll do final planning and hoepfully have a confirmation of the bus company on monday or tuesday. then we will assign the busses.

Ok,so a shuttle around 12 and only one shuttle later?I am landing around 12, so I would have to wait for the late shuttle? When is the late shuttle scheduled?I will have to consider the train, if there will be too much waiting time.

ok. good news.
shuttles have been ordered and assigned.
the price is 25.- one-way, no matter which airport.

everyone who registered for a shuttle, please do:
1) check the website whether your assigment is correct (correct as in "matches your flight in a way that makes sense".) please note that we have to assign people to shuttles in a way that they are halfway equally distributed, so we can't avoid waiting times for a few people.
2) if something is totally wrong, contact us via the hotline

you will also receive a confirmation email soonish! once that arrives, check the data in there once again.

details about payment and how to get the retour-tickets will also be published soon.

if you have any further questions, please contact us.

oh, forgot something:
THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE HEREBY IS VOID.
the deadline was set so that we can order the busses in time. everyone can now still register as long as there are free seats on the busses. details about free seats can be seen on the shuttle information page:
http://www.revision-party.net/info/shuttles

if more people register, prices might even drop a bit, so: plane travellers, keep registering ;)
