REVISION 2011
category: parties [glöplog]
I don't know, it might sound a bit harsh. But this Amerigo-Vespucci-lander might have not the money to come over. :D
everyone who comes to germany by plane, needs an airport shuttle and has yet NOT registered, please consider doing so now.
reason: we'd like to finalize airport shuttle planning as soon as possible so that we can order the shuttle in time and that sceners which can't get a shuttle assigned can plan an alternative trip to and from revision.
thanks!

Me and cce are so going to get a shuttle!
let's hope so...
seems nearly noone is going via HHN

I'm flying to HHN, so a shuttle would be very nice :)
So where's your name on the shuttle registration page? :P
styx: would just rather do it the other way around ;)
The relevant flights are currently more or less the same price, so if there's just a single shuttle leaving at 13 I'd rather land at 12 than at 9 - so lurking a bit for now. Any idea how many you would need for a bus?

There is a group of three of us coming from the uk, but can't book the flights until pay day in about a week. Is that gonna be ok?
I'm sorry if this has already been asked somewhere in this thread or if the info is hidden on the website, but will there be a partyplace-hotel-partyplace shuttlebus or are the Hotels near enough so we don't need one?
And how's things running with the hotel-announcement? I'd hate for all hotels to be fully booked once it's announced, that people will have to sort hotel-bookings out themselves ;-)
As Saarbrucken has far more hotel rooms available than Bingen, you should not be worried about that.
Cool - I won't then ;)
Psycho and all the others that would need a shuttle:
the problem is, we can't just order one and hope enough people want to use it. it costs quite some money and is only cheaper than regular public transport if enough people sign up. we don't earn any money with the shuttles but we neither want to make a loss, so the simple formula is: price p.p. = price_shuttle / num_persons
and everyone who wants to use the shuttles should be prepared for at least some waiting time, we cannot change that unless so many people want to use shuttles that we have to order a few of them at different times a day anyway.

hmm, live act...
Chipophone

as for a liveact, i do strongly recommend hunz. old tracking scene hangarounds and current renoise users may know why it's good to have him on board. :)

considering people getting the hang of the comfort, even a city with a blooming infrastructure as saarbrücken may run out of hotel room reservations pretty quick. :)
Considering the size of Saarbrucken, I think you underestimate the number of hotels :D

The hotel page will hopefully go online shortly with more rooms available than currently registered visitors. So... no need to worry.
Mr. D.Fox, any plans for a hotel-shuttle-bus then? :D
@dlz: that would be dope to have hunz playing live but as they don't seem to be able to pay from Helsinki <-> Saarbruken , I'm not sure they could even think about someone living around Brisbane :)

It's planned, yes. But in the end, it'll depend on the amount of money we can spend for the party. We're currently in negotiations with the tourism office and the public transport companies. As soon as we reach (or don't reach) an agreement - it'll be posted on our website and here on pouet.
