A party without alcohol???

What The Fuck? Super-Prohibition 2011? "Intoxicated persons"? And they say you can't even drink in the parking lot? What kind of boozophobics are running the show there?
What does this have to do with "security" anyway? Are they now considering every drunk person a security risk? That is insane.
I might remind that there is a state of being "mildly drunk" or "semi drunk" or "drunk but coherent" or "drunk, upbeat and creative". Are all of these quite clearly highly benign states also outlawed at the TG too?
I don't think I'd want to visit a party with a rule like that. It just seems like a huge pointless turn-off. A buzz killer, literally.

I don't know how it'll be enforced at TG, but M&S and BP had similar rules and nobody got kicked out as long as they didn't vomit all over the main stage... Then again TG is no demoscene-only party... :/
BP never had that rule. At BP there was a rule about hard alcohol in the hall. Beer was ok.
TG11 might be the very first non-Polish party I'll actually attend, then...
maybe they want just more other drugs to spread around?
Rasmus that's how I reckall it aswell. I seem to vaguely remember though that merely passing through the smoke outside the hall would get you well stoned.

I think thats what would say an alcoholic.
You should BOYCOTT the gathering. if you still go there you accept their prohibtion shit! so better stay away from there, it will teach them a lesson, and they might have their „demo“ party with some underage kids if they want, maybe they bring the demos.
If lack of alcohol is *that* much of an issue, maybe you should think about boycotting this party and visit an AA meeting instead?
