STSound archive backup?

category: music [glöplog]

Does anyone have a saved copy of the STSound Pleasuredome's YM archive (or any other large YM archive) that they could put online? The site that used to host it appears to be dead.
And yes, I'm aware of sc68 and SNDH, but I want the YM files for a specific purpose.

hei Mic!

I got some YM on www.chiptune.com, not all of them but my favorites...

I hope it can help a bit...

The YM Archive by aldn on Pacidemo is still online.
ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/users/bulba/VtxYmEtc.7z has some too, but tends to be more of ZX-Spectrum stuff.
I should have a ym archive downloaded somewhere, just shout if you need a specific tune you didn't find.

Oh yeah, SainT can record what you play directly to YM, so you can boot up your favorite demo and just take a recording.

...a recording with all typical st-sound bugs included at no extra cost!

...kind of hard to avoid if st-sound format is needed anyway!

Thanks.
Inaccuracies don't matter that much. I have plans for writing an YM2149 emulator for the SPC (SNES sound processor), but I'm obviously not going to emulate a 68k/z80 on the SNES, hence my need for a logged format (YM).

I have what I think is a mirror of the ST pleasuredome archive. It got their html and 2d files and 1942 YM files. Why im not sure its a complete mirror is because I might have deleted stuff over the years or didnt manage to get all of it. Files are all from 1999. Give me your Email and ill fill it with YM

I just found this:
ftp://ftp.pigwa.net/stuff/audio/ym/
it's at least a part of the ST Music Pleasuredome...
