I am a GP32 fan since I saw it at TUM2003 and I got myself one console from Korea before they imported it (damn, it was expensive :D).

Ring my doorbell if you plan to set up a democrew for GP32 :)

Nice platform, I've had my GP32 for about a year and have released a demo and some other stuff for it.

Hehe, I think the guy at tUM did a good job in advertising the console, because after having seen it there, I coudln't get my mind off it, so I ordered at Lik-Sang a few days later. It's really a good store, and the package from Hong-Kong to Germany was just 7€.

I don't think it will be released in Germany within the next few months, at least I have read nothing about this on http://www.gp32x.com, which is my favorite GP32 news page. I don't know if you can order it from Spain, so the package would be less expensive, but I can really really encourage anyone to buy it! I use mine every day. OK, not always for coding, but also as an mp3/movie player and as the universal Nintendo console, since there are nice Emulators for about everything for the GP32.

No, you just get a framebuffer, everything else is up to you!

what about this one: http://www.tapwave.com/ ??
0xtob: it does? I think there was a point in ordering from .de to avoid customs/taxes since the packages were distributed from there so EU rules would apply but then again I'm not sure.

violator: Never heard of this. But since Lik-Sang are nice people, you can ask them to put a lower price on the package, so that it won't be checked at the customs office, which worked fine for me :-)

RA5MUS: The Tapwave is yet another PDA, nothing more, nothing less. And fuckin' expencive. Seems like that the GP32 is the last real videogame handheld (with some PDA features thanks to the homedevelopment scene). Everything what followed after the GP32 is a PDA in my opinion.

What kind of music format should be used on gp32 demos? Does mp3 take too much CPU time?
