Here it is! The first official release for almost five years.

This release fixes so many bugs and brings so many improvements that it's impossible to list them all.

Features worth mentioning:
- Accounting system
- Support for different beamslide-resolutions
- Merged Organet and Partynet in one single package
- Replaced BOOBS with SCREENS

This will most probably be the last release of PartyMeister for a long while. Since this project is now more than 6 years old, it's time to throw away everything and start from scratch ;)

If you configure your database correctly, yes :-)

rasmusm: configuration is now way easier than before. If you have a working webserver, PM can be installed in minutes.

If there is enough demand, I could set up a virtual appliance and put it on scene.org or untergrund.net.

dfox, i have no webserver. does it run on wamp?

I should - but I haven't tested it on a windows machine, so there might be problems.

I suggest you download a virtual appliance from vmware.com with a fully installed LAMP server.

We at Buenzli have been using Partymeister for quite many years now and are more than glad to see this release! Thank you D.Fox for maintaining this piece of extremly useful software and thanks for all the on-site help at Buenzli too, when there was something going wrong! After two years, I got used to PartyMeister's bugs and annoyances - I demand they be reinstated!

Actually, with hindsight, our PartyMeister problems always existed between chair and keyboard.

Well, it doesn't bring BOOBS back, but there's another small maintenance release (1.5.3) to reflect changes and fixes made for the Ultimate Meeting 2010. Check the changelog for details.

Gonna try install Partymeister for a small LAN/Demoparty at the school iam working at now :)
