I really was thinking "WTF, does steve really believe that apple invented video calls?" i am so amazed how many sheeps who blindly buys every single product with an apple on it.

Except it still can't multitask. It multitasks by freezing&unfreezing apps. And has pre-determined background workers. If you want to write a usable IRC client or something which requires a custom background process youre still boned.
Apple and Microsoft is just a box of shit, as simple as that.
Movi: you need a "custom" background process? for what? you can't use the ones they provide access to, which would indeed enable you to write e.g. an IRC client?

I would be willing to guess the reason the supposed guy had interest from a girl over his iPad is not about his coolness, more likely she thinks he is a rich sucker :)
