The partition table of an SanDisk 2GB SD-Card that started to behave funny today:



I don't need more than maybe 200mb, so a reformat to 1gb and everything will be fine..

It's the first fake I had in my hands though...

Hah! How many petabytes do you have free? ;)

Fun fact: The partition has is so good that as a normal user you won't notice. All data < 1GB just works, everything beyond that goes into the vortex and is lost (reads as 0xff).

I tried on windows and linux. Booth operation systems didn't complained about the fucked up partition table. It - at least somewhat - worked.
