@kb : I remember something that you recorded the ultrasound concert on a 4 or 8 track recorder? Anyway, if you need help for mixing the concert into a descent sound I would like to volunteer for that.

neo, yep, I did, and I'll try to mix the recording somehow this weekend, but so far I couldn't even be arsed to set up my PC at home again. Still too busy doing nothing :)

Thanks for yet a wonderful party. The only ones to blame for not having a good time are them selves. (and perhaps some bad food for those who got into that kind of suffering ;)

Missed alot outside action this year, and other stuff, but I dont know why? Drank alot this year(too) but dont feel I got any blackouts. Really frustrating :(
But still, at least I got to see(and remember) most of the compos from start to finish so all in all for me it was a good party.
I guess Its just because BP is over now, and you feel you should have experienced more this last time.

The gathering 2010 : 5000 people 17 releases
Breakpoint 2010 : 1200 people 133 releases

That's a pretty creative bunch at Breakpoint.

But how many sceners were attending The Gathering? Maybe actually they had more demo throughput per scener after all?

loaderror: actually we had much more then 133 releases, all compos together where something around 350 releases or so (sorry dont have the correct number on my hand atm)...

So iam sure the throughput per scener is prolly better at BP ;)

we had 351 entries submitted this year. a lot of them were disqualified because they were missing files, didn't get finished or didn't work on the compo machines. a lot more were preselected.

or, well, more precisely, didn't make it through the preselection :)

Btw: thanks BP orgas for having preselection with relatively aggressive standards. I much prefer watching a compo with 15 contributions that range from half-decent to stellar rather than one with 30 contributions that range from dross to stellar.
