Classic / exotic / rare consoles

category: general [glöplog]
Hey guys and girls,

someone interested in classic, exotic and / or rare consoles? Currently I want to get a rid of all the stuff I have at home cause I too much to do in my reallife and I don't play with it anymore. But it's too much worth to me for just selling it on eBay. I want to sell it to sceners who want to develop on it. A nice alternative would be that I borrow you that stuff FOR FREE if you want to develop on it.

There would be...

- Nintendo 64DD incl. games and cartridges (Japanese N64 available)
- GamePark GP32 (not that rare but still most sceners dont have this awesome open source handheld)
- NeoGeo MVS (1-Slot)
- Nintendo Virtual Boy (Japanese model)
- Dreamcast Karaoke System (Japanese Dreamcast available)
- Japanese Saturn (please more demos on it!!)
- Doctor V64 (for N64)
- etc. pp.

There's a NeoGeo devkit? Cuz, I'd seriously love to see a NeoGeo demo.

And yeah I could dissasemble an MVS cart, but that would take time and stuff (:
What? No Konix system? Bah...
freeze, Mhmmm, you own a virtual boy? I was interested in this machine too, but I think that it would be a major pita to write a demo for it. Watching it would be a pita too that is. ;)

Actually there was a single NeoGeo demo back in 1994 or 1995 I think. There has to be a NeoGeo devkit somewhere. It's a pity I sold my NeoGeo AES a week ago. :(

hey freeze, cool of you to post about this stuff! is the saturn modified to be able to play cd-r's? since that would be pretty necessary to develop for it. if it is modified, i would definitely be interested in it. let me know.

Errr... I wasn't very honest to you when I wrote that above, the one things I wanna sell it the Nintendo 64DD, NeoGeo MVS and maybe the Doctor V64.

Everything else I would borrow you if you would develop on it.

The Saturn isn't modded but I still can play CD-Rs on it (thru the switch trick).

The Virtual Boy is more easy to develop than you think. Check http://www.planetvb.com and their turtorials. There is even a 3D engine (!!!) out. The VB scene is small but realizes little wonders.

I might want that Gamepark32. But I don't know when I will start coding. At the beginning of 2005 I might go to the army and before that I'll want to finish some small C64 and CPC releases. The project World Domination 2008 starts after the army..

Please read carefully, I don't sell anything then the 64DD + Japanese N64, NeoGeo MVS and Doctor V64 (beside a limited edition red PS2 and stuff). Everything else I borrow you if you want to develop on it!!

By the way, I forgot, I also have a Dreamcast DreamEye. It's like the PS2 EyeToy but much better. Not for sale, but I'll borrow you it.

Errr... after I still got all those machines and I really don't want to get it away in the end... someone interested in developing a demo for it anyway? As I said, I would borrow you the stuff for FREE as long as you need it for a demo. Well let's say... not more than a year.

I'm still interested tho right at this very moment I'm dealing with all my us-based stuff, deciding what to keep, what to ship, etc.

So altho I really want the MVS (cuz, like, all my MVS carts) I sorta... well that's not the point, is it? it's for development... not for me playign my MVS carts (:

And I have already 800 projects I'm not done with. So.
I own one MVS SLOT1FZS and one MVS MV1FS
15 carts (thanks to elend for buying advices regarding some games).
Also have Nec Super Grafx with... lets say 100 HuCards+20 CDs.
