Add Latest Party to front page

When i visit pouet, which isnt very often, its mainly to see whats up in the demoscene, to see whats new. For that a list of the latest parties would rock, so ill see instantly what releases to take a look at. just an idea.

In his own defense though, perhaps if "PAiN 03/04 is here! 10 years of success!" wasn't the headline from the RSS feed on Pouet he would need not ask such a silly question. ;-)
i already wondered who updates this rss feed thing (with the news from ojuice)?
How often is orangejuice online? I thought it had permanently passed away by now. And do you REALLY want to visit one slower site than pouet, before entering pouet? And then having to SEARCH on pouet? (wich is a MESS).
Scene.org usually is a good way to go, but without having the screenshoots etc its kindof messy aswell, esp when theres like 10 zipfiles with almost same name, and they are all different patches for a demo ;-)

Ojuice is only most of the time. Remember it's a free service, maintained in our free time. You can give us money and we'll keep it online 99.9999% of the time. If you can do a better news service which is online more than Ojuice, just do it. People will love it. But you would have to do something. That's maybe the problem, isn't it? :)

What you say is irrellevant, it doesnt change the fact that ojuice is slow and unstable, it just doesnt, pouet is slow and very often offline aswell, but atleast, when its online it is, and its pouet i like, i dont like ojuice, never have done and never will. Free or not i dont give a fuck.

i have to agree stefan on this one (or with what i decyphered from his post), altho pouet isn't THAT much offline compared to OJ. Still, the OJ light version is buggy and the full version is slow (120k mainpage, anyone?)

It's more about the general 'mood' of always complaining about everything that made me post my opinion (like almost everytime when I do post).. Of course Ojuice could improved, but as long as nobody (from the team) does it we take it as it is - and it's not that bad afterall, isn't it? At least there's a constant news flow.

i dont care about the "scene news", and no, its not the XXX kb frontpage that bothers me, its the speed of the server that bothers me, my side of the connection is fast enough.
