scene.org acting like a criminal, refusing to remove my files

Why are so many sceners turning into raving lunatics lately? It's really saddening to see :(
TheWillOfParadox> who are you?
okkie: I choose to see it as the scene attracting lunatics, not that they necessarily count as sceners.
Not the first scener to have 'found' religion..

Now can you put it down again, carefully, where you found it please...

Priest of the "Guys in Robes" Church of Christianity approves of this thread. :)
Thanks for a good laugh anyway :D
Who's the guy with the pencil on this page? He looks like the little dwarf-luchadors in Nacho Libre :) Without the pen, ofc.

I have no idea who this Wilders person is. Does that mean I'm damned to hell!? :)
i started reading this topic and gave up at about 3rd page...
i really can't believe demoscene forums allow themselves to even think and act THIS low and that certain persons think they can influence and flame demoscene history because of their own current needs by removing their 'embarassing' material (in whatever sense you mean, being it just ugly or involved in some 'copyright' problems). in our country (and probably everywhere else) politicians are doing the same and it is called 'daily politics', something which has no essence rather than current goals, and has no regards of public who is getting manipulated and confused by changing and missing pieces...
seriously, even thinking about this is so lame, and i completelly support scene.org's position in defending it's historical archival role - one that is truly unbiased, open to everyone and everything - a rare and precious place in todays digital world, not only a demoscene. rewriting a history is always a bad thing - removing something that has been a part of it (in this way or another) is pure act of destructive memory, and i am always glad to see people who are brave and conscious enough to say 'stop, it doesn't quite have sense'... i may be extreme in not regarding 'copyright lobby' at all, but i see demoscene as something always being out of it's sistem - and hopefully going to stay that way. if it is not, than i am probably on the wrong place that already lost it's focus...
i like many have made many things that are now obsolete, bad and ugly, but there is always a date, something to put things in perspective and to allow history to be analysed (and reanalysed) as it is, not as it morhped during time and personal queries...
i say: learn to live with you as you are and especially you as you were, please don't do the history rewrites, at least not in the demoscene...
thank you...
