Just a thought, most demos are played at parties where it's dark..
So it'd be very nice to be able to set background color to black, (subjective opinion) but white background takes focus away from the demo IMHO.. Or make it photoshop-background-grey, that is the color that is most neutral for the eyes when viewing things with color..

So option 1: change the default background permanently
option 2: make a dropdown box that saves background color in a cookie (black/gray/white)

Errr, isn't there a toggle on the site to change the colour?

even my pouet is in black ( mismatching the logos,but everything else worx fine and looks appealing... atleast to my eyes :D )

I turn my monitor off for full-on blackness. Otherwise, the screen is always a slight grey colour even with both text and background set to black.

i also see you have gotten mp4 download! or has it always been there? i had some problems playing stuff but with a download its much better downloading it and playing without interuption. good work.

Why there is two videosites dedicated to the demoscene?

Dunno, but competition is good. Capped is better for watching a demo I think, demoscene.tv is good for watching a playlist or following a party, stuff like that.. I guess they're not really aiming to be the same thing.

Think you'll find Capped.tv is for higher quality version of all the demos. You can use Demoscene.tv for watching all scene demos in one handy place and Capped.tv for having killer HQ versions, as some people can't run a lot of newer demos at full settings, it's the next best thing.
