Beamer calibration/Projection on a special wall
category: general [glöplog]
yo. I'm searching for a software that performs a sort of lens-shifting.
I can't project the image from the center and the wall on which i want to project is triple in width than in height.
I dont want the beamer to project above the screen.
Maybe i could select the corners of the area it should project to and then enter the real dimensions. So it got the contorted plane and what it should really look like. Should be able to compute that, mh?
Is there a tool for that use?

You want chapter 13 of this book. A whole chapter of mathematical stuff and in the end a one page solution that you can simply type down without understanding any of the fancy shit before :)
(If you know what homogeneous coordinates are, that is)

Less formulas, more pictures!
Do you roughly try to do something like this? Then check their page at Uni Weimar

and the jackal, one of my fav. thrillers even it was dissed by pretty much everyone :D
noname: that is exactly what i'm searching for...but doenst look like there is already software available that can do this...
