Some flaws with this reasoning;

a) Total destruction doesn't mean that the area adjacent to the blast is safe. Wikipedia states 1.6 km total destruction in Hiroshima combined with fires spread across 11 km from the blast. I guess if you'd turn your air conditioning up high enough you'd be safe.

b) Earth's population is not spread evenly across the inhabited area. Most of the population is concentrated at metropolitan areas and around coastlines.

c) Fallout from the blasts will continue long after the bombs go off and cause severe sickness and death among the survivors. Not to mention how all the dust that is brought up in the atmosphere will affect the climate.

d) B83 nuclear warhead is something only shithead America possess.

e) The world and the humanity is not the same thing, not to mention civilization. Try to maintain civilization with a bunch of radiation sick starved hobos stumbling around.
