i too have a feeling iphone is the only one. it takes other companies ages just to copy apple and get it right

i saw LGs tvad for their new much-better-than-iphone phone. was rather embarrasing to see them hyping a telephone that in the ad ran say 3-4 fps in the ui

iphones are not that expensive. they cost about 400 € here in switzerland with a subscription for 0 CHF/month.

Personally I'm a fan of Sony Ericsson phones. At least they have great Java performance. Dunno how great demos you could do with the Java APIs though.

It's a shame the best mobile demos are indeed for Symbian :)

I'd say iphone, android or palm pre are the ones worth looking at. Android seems like good software, but the hardware isn't so great. More phones are coming out though so that should change. Pre isn't out yet, and might turn out to be shit, but at least it looks like it will be good.

My HTC Diamond runs winmo/ppc demos, DOS demos via emulator, amiga, atari, gba, c64 etc etc all through emulators. And they all run nicely too. MilkyTracker is awesome on it also ;)

of course i've no clue at all, but my E71 runs symbian demos just fine. it also has great office support (usable email client, ms exchange connectivity, decent todolist stuff, etc)

It's not like it's all manufactured (and often designed/constructed) in China anyway.

What really sucks about LG is their logo:
