Hmm,. the first feeling I had of how the word "cheesy" connected with cheesy stuff is in photography when they tell you "say cheese" to show off that everybody was very happy in that particular moment but that was so artificial and overexagarated that is ..cheesy.
My english. Ahhh,.. problem is I translate things from greek (but not doing it consciously word by word) I think. I did't even know there are some mistakes. I should be careful of this (I think).
I also don't understand the meaning of kitsch but maybe it's almost similar.
