It's getting beyond a joke really. I was chatting to Shockwave on the phone the other day about this - every time another shitty fucking bits release goes onto Pouet, it pushes down other more worthy releases out of view - take for example the latest BITS release; a ZX Spectrum character set viewer - this most certainly isn't pouet worthy, is it?

Also every demo seems to be similar, almost random sounding music, shitty bouncing logos or crap scrollys. Are BITS just an elaborate troll on the scene, or just obsessive compulsive detritus spewed forth by a sociopathic twat?

I mean, seriously "M Samso", fuck you. No one appreciates your shit demos and the joke is so fucking old. Stop using Pouet as a repository to store your half baked (fuck it, uncooked!) bullshit. Why not work more on your productions and get them sanity checked by another scener before you get another thumbdown storm?

Is it about time the scene got a QA like the xbox? you can only release things on pouet (primary scene productions hub) after it has been approved of by the quality assurance team? what the motherfuck? If bits has to go, 90% of pouet should go out with it because it is mostly

Seriously. Those ASCII char things are not demos by any stretch of the imagination. They are no tools nor minor demo utilities. Those should be deleted.

Are 32b things that do a random bit operation on a random pixel and plot it demos? Those need to go as well if they're removed.

Are demos with 3D and no 2D effects really demos? Those are also need to go away.
