trace: do you, by any circumstances, know a flash "demo"/video (dunno if it was scene-related) featuring jazz music and an abstract stairwell, released ~maybe 5-6 years ago..? I would love to see that one again, lost the link years ago. reminded me of the old melon dezign flash movies but I remember that as the best/most impressive flash movie ever..

Ah yes, I remember seeing that one. However it's not realtime tho, it's done with 3dsmax (or whatever) and exported as a vector animation. (Just in case you thought it was realtime).
Anyway, it's great! :D

yep I know :) that's why I called it "video" :)
dunno whether stuff like this ever started that animation craze :D

atrium II !!
coltrane worked fine with it :)
hermes: That flash-thingie was cool - excellent concept and the execution was really good with the exception of the horrible, horrible camerawork.
Eh, you are not allowed to complain about horrible camerawork ;)
I didn't make those cameras. I made the ones on the other prod trace liked though. :)
The cameras on the tunnel part are a bit boring tho :P
As long as they are just "a bit", then I can live with that. :) Besides, it's my birthday today and I won't allow anything besides this damn cold I got to rain on my parade! ;)

Really bad news trace :( In these days our work is less and less valuable...
Wow! I won't ever dare putting myself on the same group as tDR. they are/were on another level.
Oh, and I don't think you're right. In these days my work seems to be more and more valuable :P
Damn! I did it :(
Trace, I mean, if companies start to being unable to pay things, it makes graphic design less valuable since there are things more important to pay first. Graphic design is just too abstract, and, in lot of cases, unnecesary...
I don't think they closing down has much to do with the actual economy. It's more about letting some gold go (build, ue...) and aspiring too much.
It seems everybody hated wip3out, but I LOVED it... not only the game, but also for the graphic design. I mean... try to imagine a 1st-party-game nowadays where the title screen is simply... grey?!
hmm... raytracid!
