That edit album is really nice indeed! Current addiction:
(now listening to track#9)
358 posts later - did anyone actually start listening to any of the albums posted because of this thread?
Nope
yeah, i tried funkadelic but didn't liked it that much. also some prog metal, advised by krabob. doesn't catched me either. keep posting :) will check more later.
@src: Gray Race - so true! Really a must-listen-to!
Also, my personal new entries:
Please Inform The Captain This Is A Hijack - Defeat Or Humiliate The United States Of America
One of the best Post-Hardcore bands I have listened to since At The Drive-In. Has also sweet Retro-Funk intermission songs that remind me of 70s US TV shows.
Plague Of Happiness - Kawan
Skapunk from Malaysia, haven't seen such a professional yet D.I.Y. band in years. Plus they have really melodic tunes with political messages and keep the real Skapunk spirit alive (unlike Mad Caddies etc.). Nice.
Rocket from the Tombs - The Day The Earth Met The...
This album just kicks ass. Really psychodelic Lo-Fi which would fit perfectly in the soundtrack of 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. Some slow parts, some fast parts, but always true Lo-Fi with scratching guitar waves and 100s of different sound layers.

Please Inform The Captain This Is A Hijack - Defeat Or Humiliate The United States Of America
Quote:
Featuring Mike Kirsch of Bread & Circuits, Fuel, Torches To Rome, Sawhorse, Fuel, and John Henry West along with Jake, Max and Alex from Former Members of Alfonsin and Q Factor, Rich from Dirty Dirt and The Dirts, Felix from Life’s Halt, and Josh Peach on slide projector and sound effects. Please Inform The Captain This Is A Hijack is a theatrical combination of music and politics, with a sound that is a rough and rumble synthesis of Former Members of Alfonsin and Bread & Circuits.

Rocket from the Tombs - The Day The Earth Met The...
Quote:
Rocket From the Tombs (or RFTT) was an American rock music band originally active from mid-1974 to mid-1975 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Heralded as an important protopunk group, they were little known during their lifetime, though various members later achieved renown in Pere Ubu and the Dead Boys. Billy Bob Hargus wrote, however, that "The sound of the Rockets is much more ferocious than Ubu or the Dead Boys."
