Oh yes. My boss was standing behind me when I was watching number 191 of random image thread!
Now I can sleep and code demos.

you, mister, suck.
:P

haha! you rule \o/
Arr... let's build our own army and take over the world.
Think of all the money... no need for work ever.
We'd be a bunch of scene-sheiks ruling the world...

this one ? frame it!
deepcore: better invent the nextgen energy, or drill at the next breakpoint.
I'd never arrange my workplace in such way that some asshole can come sneaking behind my back watching me tracking or playing Angband.
well, 192 is the target tomorrow!
No seriously, the random image page thing was a joke. Haha!
But I really was fired today. It was unexpected. They gave me 3100E compensation. For other reasons (economical crisis and stuff they say). I am not very sad. At least I can rest for a while, code some demo and move to a new job and meet new people. I was starting to getting bored there. There are a new C++ / OpenGL demand on my city. Hmm..

Does this mean you'll be spending more or less time on Pouet?
serpent: no need to be there. most medium/large companies with any sort of IT department will already have some software monitoring your behaviour remotely. wheter its automatic AI snoop-ware or something like VNC.
optimus: the Credit Crunch pw0n3d j00! :)
this is handy.
btw Optimus, here is a megatip : you know those upcoming touchscreens or coffee table computers, they clearly need some sexy interactive plasma effects! :D
We are anonymus, we dont not forget, we do not forgi...whoops wrong webpage.
Hmm, a cool interactive multimedia work on limited platforms! (nowadays iPhone? -> sell -> profit??)
Optimus:
I recommend you so much not to spend so many time coding the demo. Stop one or two weeks if you want, and start searching for a job as much as you can. It is not going to be an easy thing, so don't waste all the money before start searching for.

Optimus:
Go and make a CPC demo!
And don't waste all the money before Breakpoint 2009!

i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and...
i have a dream that one day giant touchscreens will be blessed by interactive moving paintings and give birth to their own demoscene!
YES WE CAN!

I agree with texel: if you start having fun (coding, playing games, rambling on the webs, etc) before searching for a job you will NEVER search for that job ... until you get really desperated and have no money, no food, don't shower anymore, and smell heavy alcohol. And it will be much harder finding a job in these conditions.
Or you could take this whole thing as a sign of the gods as in fact, you weren't born to have a job and you'd better be homeless and pass the whole day rambling to strangers and asking for money while coding on a laptop powered with STOLEN electricity.

barzoule: you sound so experienced :]
Demoscene bums, that would be awesome.
Zest: it's not my experience, only a dream. weather is way too harsh here for that kind of life :P
tho i did pass a lot of time without a job and just having fun coding. I was very productive back in those days. Been really hard to find motivation to find a real job.

Coding on OLPC!
Or maybe you just weren't born to do _that_ job.
