As far as I can see Adok took a dump in the Internet's kitchen and now the Internet wants blood and Adok doesn't care enough to break. So we have an epic stand-off, with the Internet hurling more and more shit which sticks only to pouet and the demoscene, not Adok.
Adok didn't write the Hugi article, he... brought it to our attention. Since then it's been removed from Hugi35. Should Adok apologise on behalf of the author? No - that's would only deepen his ties to the article. Should Adok acknowledge that publishing the article was a mistake? Yes. I believe he already did that by removing it from the diskmag. Then some lumbering buffoon posted a copy of it on the web. Good job. How does smearing this kind of faeces across the net help matters? It doesn't. Not even if you put a disclaimer on it.
A lot of excluded, introverted or socially inept people take refuge in niche communities like ours and that's cool but can cause some volatility. We're clearly not so good at dealing with that. It is clear that Adok doesn't give a shit about Internet abuse and never will, he potentially even revels in the attention, and threads like this simply fan the flames.
