hq mp3 compo is called "dance compo" - does this mean it _must_ be dance, or can it be anything we wish to contribute with?

Xerxes: its supposed to be "dance music compo" and the idea is to make a track that make the audience dance.

What you wish to call dance music is entirely up to you though, although I would advice checking the stream and icons dance music compo entries if you still are in doubt :)

Also, get your homies to sign up on demoparty.net if they are coming ;)

@xrs: According to popular television shows, people can obviously dance to whatever piece of music, without the need to observe any rhythm in the musical piece at all.
Speaking as the compo organizer, I "doubt" that tracks that don't fit within the limits of the "electronic dance music" term will be disqualified/not played.

However, breaking the other rules (format/length) will get you into trouble for sure :)

To be a bit more obvious: If you dont register, we dont know that you are coming. If we dont know that you are coming, we might not be able to plan the party facilities in an optimal way. In that case, you cant come and complain later ;)

I swear, the DAY we get the rides all organized and hear from everyone who had previously indicated interest, we get ... someone else who wants a ride.

Unfortunately, the Accession vehicle is FULL, meaning we cannot stuff another person in it. The other vehicle is also full. So, yeah, I'm sorry, I tried to keep everything open and have rides available, but Murphy's law says that the day we get it finalized someone will pop up needing a ride.

However if you manage to convince some others to go, you can prolly tag along with us (following behind us) - but no, the vehicles are currently full (and by that I mean "no really, we cannot put anyone else in it, we've got 8 in the Helsinki vehicle... and the other is not leaving from Helsinki, so you'd have to say where you are and so on.

The last chance of ordering (and paying) for our food menu is Monday 10th of November. The amount of food based we will make is based on the amount of orders we get, so if you want to make sure you have some food, you better order. (And to make Truck happy: The finns on the Accession trip don't have to worry about this).

leia: guess what we did? :)
we rented a bobil (carcaravan). but a nice little bobil, so we have our own place to sleep, eat, drink etc. but we need some electricity.. i assume it would be ok for us to park quite close to the building we are at and grab some electricity through a window or something? we have the extension cables etc ourselves, so all we need is to be able to tap a bit of electricty from somewhere.
