Those aren't typical brickshitting movies, but they have nice plot and great atmosphere. Especially first two.

The Butterfly Effect is totally not what I would expect from an Ashton Kutcher movie.

Although it would have been much better without the last 10 minutes :)

Seconded, ending is crap.

Usually I don't love too much shit-bricks movies.
This one, despite of the gory poster, is an entertaining movie with a very dark/suggestive ending.

somebody ever recognized that most of the last years shit brick films mostly have wimen as killers or heroes. :D

signs is one of the wort movies ever.

watch the japanese version of "Juon: the grudge" if you really want to shit bricks

David Firth aka http://www.fat-pie.com has got some new and very sick stuff up. It won't make you shit bricks, but pray he never makes an actual movie... His stuff is definitely the most disturbing.
