imbusy: Maybe because people think that it was nVScene that caused no decent releases in other parties? And worst of all, it's as obvious as the sky is blue that most of the sceners wouldn't like to accept the idea that America can be a part of the demoscene with a big party aswell.

See, it's all about "It was born in Europe, and it must stay so!"; which I find quite pointless considering the medium we use most of the time to communicate is internet...

I officialy declare nvscene as the party where screen space ambient occlusion finally became a standard in demoscene. We will not see any more demos without it I think.
