2. do I have to post a message to rate a prod?

There is a very usefull faq (topbar) which explains everything.

1) We have these things on pouet called glöps. You get some for adding new productions, screenshots or nfo files, or for rating/commenting the prods. Once you reach 128 glöps, you will be able to give one CDC. 256, a 2nd one, 512, the 3rd one and so on. I suggest you just give comments to your favourite demos and it won't be long until you can give out a CDC as well.

2) You can type an empty space which will then show up as no comment, but it's of course nice to write something.

There should be more ways to get glöps and other rewards than just CDCs. Pouet could be a demoscene-MMORPG.

Actually making a demo should be rewarded with 500 glops.

There should be some sort of a system where you can see which demos the user was credited at and what demos user had been greeted at (user/group..). That would've been nice.

For credits there's DemoZoo...

and it should depend on the order of the greetings list of course! So fairlight would get more points than farbrausch in most cases.

finally jumalauta members would get the respect they deserve!
