Yes, there is a very nice 1280x720 60fps WMV version of the reel. We will release as soon as we find the time :)

Amazing video... gloom, killer soundtrack... I wished some of the demos actually -had- that track, and not the original's.

Very fitting, nicely synch'ed, and nice choice of modern scenes.

If anything didn't fit, it was .the.popular.demo (which I like a lot, personally, but didn't see it fitting in the video), otherwise excellent

Also; In the heat of naming the file, there really wasn't time to think it through, but it should of course have been "NVScene team" or "NVScene VS Scene.org" or something, f.y.i. I hope that's clear enough from the credits though. :)

lol temis posting on pouet - hell did freeze over :D

so: cry for help - we dont have our demoboxes. Our engine has had big BIG problems with 8800's (or their drivers) before, like dropping to 1 fps bad. We worked around it but debugging on the compo machine was not fun.
Can someone who HAS a demokit let us use theirs at the party? We need to see if we hit the same problems, and also need to see how far we can push our scene complexity sliders.

that makes me thing that nvscene and its demoboxes will probably have an impact on the technical level of demos or at least on their hardware requirements, which have been quite stable for the last years (except for fairlight demos ;)

Nvidea 'upgraded' the demo scene in away with it's boxes ;)

most of the top notch demos already use shader3 anyway. but yes, our demo will be pushing a 8800GTS pretty hard in some parts :)

Most of ya'll don't know me but you may have seen my little Demograpihcs featurettes on the Mindcandy discs. I just registered for NVISION today (I live in San Francisco, so no excuse) and I hope to meet anyone representing the scene in San Jose. Look for Jeremy on the nametag.
