Hi there,

Do you guys know these bands or artists ? I like soundchips, soundtracks and old school musics. I recently discovered bands like Welle Erdball from Germany or Apoptygma Berzerk. I strongly advice you to get some tunes from them. 2 singles from Welle Erdball : Starfighter F-104G and 1000 Weisse Lilien (watch the video clip too).

I also got the following MP3 files from P2P network (eMule) :
Hazel - Back To C64 (The Retro Mix)
DJ Pitch Black - Welle Erdball Commodore Forever Mix

I'm not sure I can "advertise" for these MP3, rips ? But I don't really know where to buy such masterpieces.

Welle Erdball is great! My favourite WE songs are "23",
"Schweben, fliegen und fallen", "Das muss Liebe sein", "Die Computer verlassen die Welt" and of course "Bill Gates komm f... mit mir" :-/

Unfortunately, if you don't understand German, you'll miss half of the fun. Btw, for those who don't know,WE use the C64 SID as an instrument in their songs and every CD contains at least one SID-only song. (Like "Monoton & Minimal", for example.)

Can it really be any better than maktone though?

If you have been to Mekka & Symposium around 2000 it is quite possible that you have seen them live :)
