hahaha, i didnt know gloom was a practitioner of NLP, but damn, well put :D
i just read that still won, but i assumed it was magic having a laugh. then i heard it was serious. oh man. :)
smash: stop assuming about something this serious.. tough luck for flt+tbl (and mfx to) as I wrote my personal fav. could not choose between them in the end I voted only one wish anyway ;-)

While I enjoyed the Still-demo a lot, I did not expect it to win.

I can't help but think that the fact that the Intel Demo Competition is so "german" might influence the results.. just speculation though.
Well, I voted for Still, because I think it was the most homoegene production, also both visuals and music did apply to my taste - so mfx and flt+tbl demos were both very good, but for me Still was the most finish product... not that I'm defending anything or syaing "haha, I was right" - I'm just syaing that maybe the voting actually shows the general opinion :)

I rather think that most non-scene people think that the mfx demo was too esoteric to vote for. Also, the intel guy said it was a close call.
actually I regret my last post - I'd rather say "It's the GERMAN INTEL COMPO MAFIA!!!" ;)
btw, did you guys notice it too? a *NORWEGIAN DEMO* won the DEMO COMPO at SOLSKOGEN, a party in, that's right, *NORWAY*! coincidence? i think not!

oh :) oh yeah :) fuck :) i wouldve said GERMAN, BREAKPOINT, GERMANY if the intel argument hadnt been about germany in the first place.
to paraphrase mr lineker: the intel democompo is a competition where 5 demo teams compete, and germany wins.
