neoneye the same phenomena happens near the coast in Denmark occationally. I have tried to drive along a cold winther day and then it started to rain. Before i could say boo or meh the whole car and road was coated in several milimiters of ice. it will make you shit bricks.

eebliss: I havn't seen anything like the freezing rain phenomenon in denmark. Though I have tried falling on my bike several times in when there is snow already. Guess it happens when you drive a car outside the city.
