All the demos are cool, but the MFX one is the one I watched more times :)

the flt demo is really good. nice effects, nice graphics.kick ass demo !
the mfx really nice too ..good tunes, good flow...
inque demo llok like an intro. not bad but too simple for a demo.
still demo nice one too.
and the cocoon demo...boring srtat..bad modeling (character looks very bad..) too many blur and 2 image on the 3D scene (perhaps to hide the poor quality of 3D scene..nothing new juste 3d scene look likes old demo...but le final scene look good..but not enought to save the rest of the demo.

Hitchhiker: your link just gives the already released demos upon the groups were selected on to compete in 2008's intel compo..

the mfx one is still cool in binary form, but not quite as cool as the video suggested it might have been.
oh well, never judge demos by the lowres video. :)

mfx: liked nothing about it, gives me eyecancer again. sorry. liked not even the music.

cocoon: I like the visuals and the music.
flt/tbl: good trip. definitely my favorite.

ckarl : maybe you should try to open 3ds max once....it will probably open your eyes on things like uvmaps and similar type of pleasures

the level is so high, i hope those demos will be shown on the bigscreens of the upcoming parties, they all deserve a big sound system :D

i particularly like the inque demo, it's both massive and refined!

louie/TBL design inventivity merges pretty well into FLT urban style and technical code.

the cocoon prod is a massive non boring 3d flyby, with a cool downtempo interlude, an even cooler soundtrack, and a remaining feeling of a big bordel :D

the still demo is a conceptual beauty,

but imho the winner is mfx, a deepness in the sky with diamonds! :)

great work from all competitors. hats off to all, even under pressure and tight deadlines you delivered. i took a liking to the flt demo because it ran just like the flv on singlecore and the style was more prominent than the others.

Cocoon demo does not work on P4 640 & 8600GT & XP sp3 :(

Nice demos as usual! Good to see that all entries support setting of resolutions/aspect ratios, that is the way to do demos nowadays (and it means I can watch them on my TV for to get a bit more bigscreen feeling).

Sdw: most demos support that nowadays. All you need is an hex-editor ;)

As others have commented before me, the quality of the demos here is outstanding! I liked every one I've seen and really admire all the work that has gone into them.
