The Cocoon-demo was nice :)

Woohoo, really groovy stuff from Cocoon. To satisfy my worst demo cravings, I settled for the flv version :)

Oh scheisse, Panta brings the effects in the FLT+TBL-one.. :) A bit disconnected, but damn - some real lookers in there!

I want the big version.. their upload speeds feel like they're uploading on a 56kbps modem or something :)

2nd part of cocoon's demo was great!

Now for that cocoon...

Cocoon's Nazca is really awesome...on first impression, my favorite of their prods.
one quibble: "ancestors" was spelled incorrectly in the greets.

can't wait to wait the others! :D

hamster: the reason for that is clearly visible in the end credits, where it says "France" :)

My fault ! Sorry !

Really good ideas on the flt vs tbl one. The cartoony part doesn't really fit much imho. The gas masks neither, well, more or les... Oh, and nice new fairlight logo!

navis: vlc? check you got the latest version.

the fairlight one was really neat. Cocoon felt a bit like a 3ds player. both seem much better than ours.

Trace: Yeah, the new logo was cool as ice. The music was good in both prods btw :)

Now let's see if the new guys from Inque can bring the noise..
added on the 2008-07-02 15:47:43 by gloom gloom

added on the 2008-07-02 15:48:58 by uncle-x uncle-x

uncle-x: they forgot to disable their pr0n downloads
added on the 2008-07-02 15:49:44 by sparcus sparcus
gargaj we were specifically asked not to until the site is live. I'm at least going to respect that request.

cocoon demo looked like a demo from the end of 90ies for the most part :( ... really nice ideas in the ftl-vs-tbl one though. it's a typical fx after fx compilation and a mesh of different styles and ideas, but some of them are really nice indeed (and would be worth to be rolled out in a separate demo).

trace: no sound cause I'm at work without headphones.

Isn't the inque one stopping a bit suddenly..

The Inque demo looked a bit too much like a flyby for my taste, but it had some nice ideas (the "orange tower" with interlocking parts was great!). All in all a bit too longwinded.

uncle-x: Unlike the other requests you ignore, you mean? :D
added on the 2008-07-02 15:55:56 by gloom gloom
gloom: agree about inque. Interestingly, there was some similarity between that tower and the tower in Cocoon's (if I recall correctly).

gloom what?:-)

the inque one seemed a bit rushed. Also unlike all the rest i've seen, it did not feature rgb distortion or glow/blur :-)

uh, i had high hopes for the inque one ... :(
