lemmus: I've included Pimp my spectrum to pleasure people which had (or still have) ZX'es and also to give something fresh. Sure they won't catch the real message about 64k scene - but did they really need it? :) It's clear for someone who's involved into scene for few years, IMHO. But agree with your point with "Bits 'n Pieces" - bundling it without debris is quite hmmm, stupid. But I didn't get the permission from FR and don't forget that I have to be 1000% clear and legal. If someone will defy the legality of it (in theory) I and CD-Action are in big, deep shit. Of course I don't believe in it - but it's not only me involved into it, and CDA can loss quite much.
Just so you know. ;)

Today appeared new CD-Action with Demoscena #1 bundled on the dvd. Scans will appear next week. I'll send the issues to irokos and unseen when I'll get my salary (July) ;]

I don't think that's quite true. It's my understanding that evilpaul made it as a bona fide experiment in using Z80 as a virtual machine for size-limited intros. The fact that it won the compo could be seen as an indicator of the poor condition of the 64k scene... or it could simply mean that a non-negligible number of people at BP appreciated a well-executed technical hack.

Well.... it did indeed start out as a bona fide experiment, but that turned out to be not very interesting on its own. Then, later on, it found a theme and grew into a comment about the 64k scene. So you're both right :)

Anyway.. back on track.... I'm looking forwards to seeing the scans :)

Can someone contact with groups like Razor 1911, ASD, Farbrausch, Elitegroup etc about the permissions for bundling the demos? My mails send to 'em are without any answer... ;(

No scans, because someone decided that artciles about Far Cry 2 or new PoP are more important than few fords about demoscene on coverdisk... I'll try change that situation.

Great idea. I remember when years ago I've found heaven seven on CDA cover - it was amazing experience to watch it... :) I hope that polish scene understands now how important is promotion and they won't be shouting 'CDA SUX' like in late 90'... If there will be a scene corner on paper, I will start buying CDA again.
