Any releases by the traditional finnish groups like mfx, traction for example ? Perhaps Visualice/FR released something ?

mfx released a demo, traction did not.

I'm sick of releasing crap. When I make something worthwhile, I will release it :)
I actually have a bunch of projects in various stages, I almost completed one old demo for Icons but then got lazy. Probably for the better, it would've made the compo longer and not contributed anything :)

ps: Actually it got no place due to an unknown error and I'll have to sincerely apologize about it. :(

Anyhow it was shown in the compo as the 8th or 9th entry and that's for sure. I really have no idea why it's lacking voting points but it might have something to do with the problems we had when trying to get the vote results.

Long story short: There was over 1.5 hours delay in the prize giving ceremony since all the voting result data was missing due to some strange bug for some time.

Will the entries be uploaded somewhere by the compo crew at some point?

I have a folder on my desktop (the compo machine is mine) titled 'demo' which apparently contains all the entries plus a bunch of seemingly random files (that come from OS X I think) so I have all the demos and can upload them in an emergency, but they're a mess and having proper release zips would be ace.

I'm very very sorry that it seems like there are also missing dance music compo results. I'm trying to do everything I can to restore the results. In case you submitted anything to us and it's not shown in the results it was still shown in the compo.

There were no forgotten entries nor anything that got disqualified, some results are nevertheless missing and I'm sincerely sorry about it and try to recover the results.

...would make a nice article to some diskmag about everything that went in some way wrong in this party organizing-wise. Luckily anyway I managed to have amazing time there even tho at some points before, at and after the party I also managed to be a total wreck :D
